HOW TO PREPARE FOR JAMB-COMPUTER BASED TESTING (CBT)

JAMB is very much ready to replace Paper & Pencil Testing (PPT) with their Computer-Based Testing (CBT) by all means. They have gone to the extent of creating a use-friendly webpage to help make this testing pattern easy and friendly with candidates.

I was doing a change of course/institution for a candidate when I stumbled on the CBT Practise test link on the side of the page (www.jamb.org.ng). Out of curiosity, I followed the link and do you know what I discovered?
I found out a well organized site that you need to register with using your Jamb Registration number. One funny thing about this registration is that you are given 48hours of trying period and it starts counting immediately your registration is complete.

Whether you like it or not, its another avenue for JAMB to make money. As soon as your free trial period is over, you will be required to make purchases for what they call CBT e-Pins and you can buy it as a vendor or an individual.

After creating an account, please get your ATM cards (Verve and Master Card) ready as you are going to make online payments.

When these processes are completed, your e-Pin can then be mailed you according to the amount paid. see below different levels of payment:
