NYSC WE HAIL THEE: THESE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS

The National Youths Service Corps alias NYSC has always been in the news but recently it was the death of the NYSC member who worked as an INEC Ad-hoc staff in the Rivers rerun election. May his soul rest in peace.

This time around we will be looking at how effective they've been in delivering their agenda of orienting and reorientation of Corps members. To an extent, NYSC should not be held responsible for what I'm about to show to you. I believe this young people attended crèche, primary, secondary and tertiary institutions but why NYSC is to take the blame is because when they misbehaved they were not representing their community or school but NYSC.

Now let us try to find out why this is rampant these days:
Should we say they were truants back in school OR
It is as a result of predictive text mode of most of our smartphones?
Now if we say it is number 2, does it mean they were impatient to read their comments before posting or they just don't know the right thing?

This is my advice: please let us try to be very careful with what we post online because they speak volume about us.
