Who said things will not get better in Nigeria? Who said learning and going to school will not be easy and convenient for those who want to go to school? I have come to tell you that Nigeria is improving and things are becoming easier and more convenient for students and applicants in the country.
The National University Commission (NUC) in conjunction with Park Association e-Learning Group and partnering with Nigerian higher institutions of learning has rolled out what they term e-Learning in the country. It is the first major e-learning degree programme in the country.
In line with this, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into four (4) approved universities through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the 2013/2014 academic session.
The programme available for now is a degree programme in Economics, so if you which to gain a B.Sc in Economics, you are welcomed.
THE APPROVED UNIVERSITIES ARE:
1. University of Uyo, (UniUyo);
2. Usman Dan-Fodio University, Sokoto (UDU);
3. University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri, (UniMaid) and
4. National Open University of Nigeria, (NOUN).
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Candidates who want to apply for admission into any of these universities, must have written this just conducted JAMB examination with Economics and Mathematics as part of the subjects and must have an aggregate score of 180.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates should visit any Zenith Bank Nationwide and purchase and a scratch card for cost of three thousand Naira (#3,000.00) and visit JAMB website www.jamb.org.ng/elearning to fill out the e-learning application form.
