Before now, we did a post on how MTN has stopped the tethering with Blackberry Internet Subscription (BIS) and how it is now affecting most of us considering the volume of data cap it comes with.

During that period, browsing was lots of fun. With #1,500.00, you are sure of 3Gig plus and thereby reducing the expenses of browsing as it was pocket friendly and suddenly MTN out of anger stopped it as a punishment for those of you who used MTN Magic sim cards for browsing. (I no follow ooo).



Now the big bang! Browsing with this MTN Bis has been made possible again by some of our tight men in the house, people like gurusloaded etc.

HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR DEVICES

MOBILE PHONES:
  • get an internet ready mobile phone, whether it is java, symbian, android, ipad, tablet, iphone or whatever mobile os,
  • go to settings, configuration, internet setting or which ever way you access your internet setting,
  • CONFIGURE NAME: ngminds
  • ACCESS POINT: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net OR 3.5g.blackberry.net
  • USER NAME: web
  • PASSWORD: web
LAPTOPS/PCs
Hope you already have a working modem, be it MTN or any other network that has been cracked to use other sims or even an universal modem, then do the following:
  • CONFIGURE NAME: ngminds
  • ACCESS POINT: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net OR 3.5g.blackberry.net
  • DIAL NUMBER:  *99#
  • USER NAME: web
  • PASSWORD: web
 With these settings in the right places, you are good to flex your MTN BIS on any device again as it was before....
