BLACKBERRY TO RUN ANDROID APPs

Blackberry has concluded to incorporate one of their rivals in the smartphones market, ANDROID, allowing them to run third-party software. The company made this decision to allow for the Android player, since the company has been criticized in the past for a limited supply of these.

The new CEO of RIM announced this, stating that the new Blackberry 10 will have the Android player. The Android player will allow Blackberrys to run android apps even though they will not be running the Android OS.

This announcement will help RIM a lot as these new Blackberrys as their arrival will help the company back to be a serious contender in the smartphones market.
