UNIPORT BASIC & CERTIFICATE FORMS ARE ON SALE NOW!!!

The University of Port Harcourt, Choba has announced the date for the commencement of registration into her Pre-Degree programmes in Basic and Certificate levels for 2013/2014 academic session.

For those of you who might be wondering what this is all about, it is a One-year programme that prepares candidates who were unlucky with JAMB and Post-JAMB screening exercises in order to gain admission into the school without going through those hurdles again.




Here is a list of the area of study:

  3. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
  4. College of Natural & Applied Sciences
  5. Faulty of Agriculture
INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION (FACULTY OF EDUCATION)
Area of study:
  1. Teacher Education Programmes 
  2. Professional Education Programmes 
FACULTY OF HUMANITIES
Area of Study:
  1. Department of Fine Arts & Design
  2. Department of Foreign Languages (for candidates offering French)
  3. Department of Linguistics and Communication (for candidates offering communication skills) 
  4. Department of Religious & Cultural Studies
  5. Department of Theatre Arts 
  6. Department of Music
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
  • Method of application is online. Log onto www.uniport.edu.ng and click on application procedure in the school of Basic Studies or Institute of Education or Faculty of Humanities and follow the on-screen instructions. 
  • Application forms can be obtained online by paying a non-refundable fee of #10, 000.00 (ten thousand Naira) only, excluding bank charges at designated banks nationwide.
  • Application online for all programmes has commenced since September 30th and will CLOSE ON FRIDAY, 15TH NOVEMBER 2013.
