HOW TO APPLY FOR JAMB SCRIPT RE-MARKING

Many candidates in the just concluded JAMB Examination are not satisfied with their scores. Some say JAMB didn't mark it correctly, while others think a major ERROR occurred during and after the computing and recording of scores and results.

To relax the nerves of doubting candidates and to prove to the public that the body is a credible one, JAMB Registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde said that any candidate who is not satisfied with his/her score can now formally apply for a re-marking, which will be done before such a candidate and if any mistake is observed on the part of JAMB, the body will not only render a public apology but also pay such candidate a sum of #100,000.00 as a compensation. 

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

• Go to JAMB head office in Abuja;
• Pay a non-refundable application fee of #10,000.00 and a receipt will be issued to you.
• Immediately, your answer script will be retrieved and re-marked in your presence.

PLEASE NOTE: The initial #10,000.00 is not refundable if the score JAMB gave you previously and the re-marked score are the same.

After this, two things are likely to happen:

1. You are at par with JAMB as it relates to the scores you were given. The previous and the present are the same and you lose your 10K and look forward to a new session OR
2. JAMB made a mistake and gave you a wrong score, which will prompt them to apologize to you and pay you a sum of #100,000.00 for all the inconveniences they might have caused you.

This service will officially commence on the 3rd of June 2013 when all possible JAMB Examination might have been concluded.
